Gabriele graduated in International Economics & Finance at the University of Milan and then obtained an MBA at INSEAD and Wharton.
He began his career as an investment manager at Credit Suisse in 2004.
Today, he's CEO at Silk Biomaterials, a regenerative medicine VC-backed startup he co-founded in 2014, and more recently he accelerated CaSRevolution, a therapeutic company targeting Alzheimer's Disease.
Gabriele also wrote "Future Health" and "Capitali di Ventura" with Edizioni EGEA and he's actively supporting the Italian life science ecosystem.
